Akari Academy: Whispers in the Dark As she walked alongside Deacon, Anna felt something inside her snap and a sharp pain flooded her senses and then everything went black. She fell to her knees, panicking because of the sensation of nothingness completely enveloping her and rendering her blind and deaf to the world around her. And then, the vision came, dancing, waltzing at a frightening pace across the darkness. The images were spinning and she heard voices but she couldn't understand what they were saying! Everything was just going too fast and then it all stopped. Anna noticed that someone was saying something to her and that she was in someone's arms. Deacon nodded. “To the office then, but, I'm still not putting you down. I'm going to carry you into that office and then to the Health Room and nothing you could say or do would make me do otherwise.” He smiled at her with a wink and she felt her cheeks burn red again. When they finally reached the front office, Deacon held true to his word and set Anna down long enough for her to check in and get her dorm assignment before he swept her up into his arms again and took her to the Health Room. The inside of the Health Room was warm and smelled of roses instead of the cold sterile smell of disinfectant that she had grown used to all through out high school... To be continued |
